A lightweight chocolate fix.


Do you crave a bit of chocolate after dinner? Yep. Me too.

So I decided to investigate mug cakes…

The result is a super-simple chocolatey pudding in a mug that takes just a couple of minutes to prepare and cook (and eat!). Here’s what you’ll need:

– 1 scoop (10g-ish) chocolate whey powder.
– 1 tbsp cocoa powder
– 1/2 tsp baking powder
– 4 tbsp milk
– Extra sweetener of your choice (optional, but I’d recommend some soft sugar or a dash of maple syrup)

– Mix dry ingredients
– Add milk and stir
– Microwave for 30-40sec (don’t overcook, it’s much better gooey!)

That’s it – enjoy :)

PS, if you’re feeling decadent, add a teaspoon of peanut butter halfway through baking and you’ll get a melted PB fondant centre…
