Reviving a dead blog
So, after the longest break in quite some time, I’m going to see if I can bring this blog out of hibernation! Some shorter posts, more posts, more food, more photos. Oh… and more rowing!
I got a 3D printer :D
Just last week I got a CEL Robox 3D printer. The possibilities are awesome and I can’t believe I waited so long. Now within minutes (well, probably hours) I can design something in CAD and make it. Superb.
Here are a couple of pics of a Go-Pro mount fitting light holder (for my scull):
It seems I failed to do less rowing. Inevitable really. I’m now working at Carl Douglas building boat parts and designing new things (stay tuned). I’m also still rowing with Imperial College, and somehow I’m going to the Olympic Trials in two weeks’ time (more realistically heading for non-Olympic worlds, but great to get involved!). I’m also rowing in a beaten up Carl Douglas demo boat, which I’m now scraping down to hopefully re-spray it before trials :)
Here she is, complete with telemetry system:
And concluding a short post; that’s all folks!
