Thanks for the update Mary. I'll add details to the main post!

I wonder if the heating wasn't working when we were there - I guess that would explain it being a little cold...

Hi John, I'm trying to flag for arrivals at Okehampton, that they should use the Granite Way cycle path from Sourton, which saves the hills on the last few miles. It's a surfaced path suitable for road bikes as well as Mountain Bikes.

Just to update you on changes at YHA Bracken Tor and YHA Okehampton. We have now added a Bike Shed facility at YHA Bracken Tor, and there has always been a drying room area, as most people want this whether they are a walker or a cyclist. For sole riders on the LEJOG, YHA Okehampton is probably more convenient, with Meals, Drying Rooms and Cycle Sheds, and we are in the process updating the cycle storage for next year with increase demand. The Filter House at YHA Bracken Tor is good for small groups supported by a vehicle.

Thanks Mary

I second Nevis Cycles - the best service I've yet had in a bike shop. They don't t try to foist anything on you (unlike Station Cycles in Cambridge) and give decent advice.

Cheddar Cycle Store are another very helpful bunch. They know what they are doing.

Yes - thankfully so! I found the spare parts, and with a bit of gentle persuasion (read: stretching the saddle really really hard) I got the old bolt out and the new one in. It's back to duties on my daily commuter now!

Hi Ben,

That app looks great. It's pretty much what I log in to Strava to check every day! If GPS recording and uploading was incorporated into your app then you basically have the complete Strava app done for WP7. Although I have a Garmin GPS, I tend to use my phone for recording quite often as there are several segments on my commute to work...

I really hope that this or something like this could find its way into the Marketplace at some point. If my coding was a bit better then I'd be jumping at the chance to help out!
