Modifications to the Garmin 205/305 quick release bike mount to allow connection to a battery pack.
I've written a tutorial on how to modify your bike mount so that a battery pack can be connected on long rides (those that exceed the 9-10hr battery life of the device).

Big Upload!
Have uploaded masses of pics taken with my new camera and various lenses (Canon 18-55mm kit lens, Nikon f3.5 50mm Macro with adapter, Sigma 70-300mm APG DG Macro). The camera is proving to be really great, though I do sometimes think I wan't something smaller and less expensive to carry around everywhere.

Camera is great! Still getting used to it, but I've added two galleries already (must have taken 100's of pic over the weekend). A few of the shots used a Raynox macro adaptor (DCR-250) and aren't actually possible with the kit lens,

After many hours spent analysing cameras online, followed by visiting the local camera shop to have a look, I have bought the Canon 400D. My very brief testing so far shows pretty good results even on the auto settings. Galleries will follow shortly...

Not having a camera sucks.
I'm going to have to get a new one soon. I think I'll use it as an excuse to upgrade too... I'm thinking that a Canon 400D might be a good option - good inexpensive(ish) DSLR.
For the meantime, here's a pic taken with my mum's Minolta SLR. I scanned the negative into the PC.

Camera stolen :-(
Nearly all my holiday pictures are gone. I have (fortunately) got a few remaining pictures - those taken of friends - which are on their laptops. I'll get them uploaded when I can.
