Here are a collection of links to sites that I find interesting or useful around the web. I’ll be adding to this list over time.
Engadget – My first port-of-call for the latest tech. news.
DC Rainmaker – Without doubt the best place to go for sports tech. news and reviews. A great blog indeed.
Something About Rowing – Anna Railton’s excellent blog about rowing and now cycling!
TrainingPeaks – Workout and nutrition logging for athletes. The interface still has a long way to come, but in terms of raw functionality, it’s really good. You may find you’re entitled to a discount as part of a sports body membership (e.g. British Cycling).
CycleOps Calorie Calculator – Calculate your calories burned during cycling from your power output (the most accurate way). Handy little calculator.
Calories in a Recipe – Great tool to figure out how many calories are in a dish you’ve just cooked up. Just paste in the recipe and let it figure out the numbers
Oar Inspired – New rowing monitor to give you all manner of useful data: strokes per minute, speed, distance, time, force curves..!
Mixcloud – This is where I do most of my listening. There are loads of free DJ mixes on here that you can stream.
